IT VARs often have multiple managed services customers who would benefit from Cloud Services, but often times, these customers fear placing their data with large providers. They prefer the familiarity they have with their VAR.
Denver, Colorado (PRWEB) June 27, 2013
NewCloud Networks, an emerging US Cloud Services provider, is announcing the launch of its White Label Cloud Computing offering (http://www.whitelabelcloudcomputingbusiness.com) to IT Value Added Resellers (VARs) across the country. NewCloud Networks is based in Denver, Colorado with two data centers in the Denver Tech Center as well as a future location in Chicago, Illinois (scheduled to be active in the 4th quarter of 2013), and 5 others scheduled for deployment over the next 18 months. The White Label service is offered using infrastructure powered by VMware.
White Label Cloud Computing gives IT VARs the opportunity to utilize pools of the existing NewCloud data center infrastructure in order to offer Cloud Services under their own company name. The service, offered on a subscription basis, spares VARs the hefty capital expense that comes with building and operating their own data center. “Data Center build out alone costs millions of dollars in up front capital. Consider the upfront expenses along with the costs associated with maintaining a data center; power, cooling, redundancy, and security, it all adds up. Our White Label service offers VARs the ability to utilize our infrastructure in order to offer services that they previously couldn’t imagine being able to offer under their own name,” says NewCloud’s Founder and President, Sam Kumar.
The White Label Solution also gives SMBs the ability to move their services to the Cloud while working with a provider they already know and trust. “IT VARs often have multiple managed services customers who would benefit from Cloud Services, but often times, these customers fear placing their data with large providers. They prefer the familiarity they have with their VAR. The value propositions for VARs include increasing monthly revenue by upselling Cloud Services under their own company name and keeping control over their margins by selling at their own prices. The value propositions to the end-user customer include the knowledge that their data is safe and secure as well as the knowledge that they will still receive the level of service they are accustomed to from their VAR. It’s a win-win-win situation for the VAR, the end-user customer, and NewCloud,” says Kumar.
NewCloud offers this White Label solution using infrastructure powered by VMware. VMware hypervisors run on server hardware in the NewCloud CO Data Center and do not require additional underlying operating systems to function, making it possible for NewCloud’s White Label Partners to offer both Windows and Linux-based Virtual Machines. Why VMware? “With more than 500,000 customers and 55,000 partners, VMware solutions help organizations of all sizes lower costs, increase business agility and ensure freedom of choice.” – VMware. VMware’s portfolio of customers includes 100% of Fortune 100 companies and 98% of Fortune 500 companies, making their virtualization platform the clear choice for NewCloud.

VCloud Director (VCD) is the software used by NewCloud to deploy Virtual Machines to their customers. White Label Partners are given access to their own pool of resources using VCD and its user-friendly portal to deploy Virtual Machines to their end user customers in minutes.
Kristofor Hogaboom, Vice President of Sales Engineering and one of the key engineers involved in the design, construction and implementation of the NewCloud Data Centers states that "VCloud Director has provided our Partners a scalable and elastic set of resource pools, allowing a much faster go to market strategy. This exponentially increases profitability and negates traditional road blocks from dedicated physical infrastructure. Additionally, VCloud Director gives our Partners economies of scale with the ability to add RAM, CPU and hard disk space, instantaneously minimizing downtime and allowing them to not only meet Service Level Agreements, but to exceed them."
NewCloud’s White Label Services are sold in packages with varying contract lengths for the convenience of the Partner. The beauty of Cloud Computing is that resources are scalable. Partners are able to upgrade their services, increasing their resources at any time.
Once a White Label Partner has subscribed to the service, the infrastructure is prepared and spun-up by Engineers in NewCloud’s Network Operations Center (NOC). Two different training sessions are offered to the new Partner; a technical training session, and a sales and marketing training session. Both sessions are conducted at the NewCloud Networks headquarters in the Denver Tech Center.
The technical training session is a thorough and intensive VCD training. The Partner’s lead engineer (and sometimes more) spends their time with NewCloud’s engineers learning how to use their VCD portal. All training is conducted using the Partner’s own portal to familiarize them with it; making it possible to begin operations as soon as possible after the training is complete.
Sales training focuses on sales and marketing strategies for the Partner and runs concurrently with the technical training. NewCloud offers it’s White Label Partners a complete go to market strategy including website content, brandable brochures, sales scripts and lead generation ideas. "The goal," says Kumar, "is for our partners to leave our office with as much information as possible to make them successful in their new venture. Their success is our success."
NewCloud has successfully tested the White Label program with a few Partners across the country before launching nationwide. For more information on White Label services please contact NewCloud Networks at info(at)whitelabelcloudcomputingservice(dot)com or call (888) 768-0038.
