The magic hop provides the final split second adjustment that puts a player in perfect position to control himself and the ball the moment he touches it.
San Rafael, CA (Vocus/PRWEB) March 03, 2011
Vogelsinger Soccer Academy has released its 2011 free soccer clinic schedule. Members of the international Vogelsinger Soccer Academy staff will hold free clinics to introduce young players to the proper technical and tactical aspects of the game.
The Vogelsinger Soccer Academy sets the standard for excellence in soccer education. Founded by the extraordinary coach and teacher Hubert Vogelsinger in 1965, the Academy offers a unique, dynamic summer soccer camp environment in which players master the mental, physical and technical skills of the game.
The unique Vogelsinger method of teaching will guide players through step-by-step instruction and participation activities designed to improve individual soccer skills. By watching demonstrations and practicing techniques participants will be able to visualize each skill clearly in their mind's eye to develop the necessary muscle response memory.
"In my opinion," says clinic director Doug Parra,"it is most important for our players to learn the 'magic hop,' a crucial ingredient in first touch ball control The magic hop provides the final split second adjustment that puts a player in perfect position to control himself and the ball the moment he touches it."
Clinics will be held on the following dates::
Saturday, March 12: 10AM-12PM -- University High School, San Diego, CA
Saturday, March 12: 1-3PM -- Ski Beach, San Diego, CA
Tuesday, March 8: 4:30-6:30PM -- La Habra High School La Habra, CA (Orange County)
Tuesday, March 29: 6:00-8:00pm -- Satellite Sports, New Jersey
Tuesday, April 26: call for time -- Patchogue Medford, Long Island, NY

Vogelsinger Soccer Academy's precise step-by-step teaching methods create a crystal clear picture of each skill through explanation, demonstration and participation. When students master the mental skill of visualization, they ultimately generate a self-role model for perfecting each physical skill. As the ‘mind’s eye’ sees every detail of correct technical positioning, what the mind conceives the body can then achieve. The international professional staff guides each player to acquire the technical mastery and mental focus that equal success in the game of soccer.
