Grand Teton Lodge Company (GTLC) is hosting a Conservation Vacation volunteer package in Grand Teton National Park where guests can explore and enjoy the grandeur of the Park at a discount in return for a few service hours that will benefit future generations.

Not one to sit and read a book on vacation? Looking for an opportunity to give back while getting away? Grand Teton Lodge Company (GTLC) is hosting a Conservation Vacation volunteer package in Grand Teton National Park where guests can explore and enjoy the grandeur of the Park at a discount in return for a few service hours that will benefit future generations. Guests will participate in conservation projects at Colter Bay including brush clearing to reduce fires, trail maintenance and preservation of historical cabins. There will be a variety of work projects for all fitness levels, and kids 16 years and older can participate.

Rutter, senior vice president and chief operating officer for Grand Teton Lodge Company. "This package reinforces his sentiment, and gives guests a chance to learn while participating in the preservation of this national treasure."

A welcome reception, three meals daily, accommodations, tools needed for the work projects, and educational presentations by guest speakers and GTLC management are all included in the Conservation Vacation volunteer package. The package is available May 31 through June 6, 2009 and again September 20 through 26, 2009. The package price is $120 per person per night based on double occupancy and space availability at Colter Bay Village, and is inclusive of tax and gratuities. The package is not applicable to groups or conventions. Advance reservations are required and can be made by calling 800-628-9988.
