VoteNav.com, a newly-developed online portal to political information and elected officials, has launched a side-by-side election comparison view on its website. This view provides users with comprehensive information about current elected officials and their opposition in the upcoming election in an unbiased manner.

The new election comparison view shows comparisons of candidates running in the current presidential, senate, congressional, and governor races in a side-by-side format. The election comparison view can be accessed by selecting the View Election link shown on the page for any elected official currently holding an office. In elections where the incumbent is running unopposed, the election view is not available.

“With all of the rumors and mudslinging associated with election campaigns, we wanted to add a view to our website that would give people the information they need about the election candidates so they could make an unbiased and informed decision when it comes time to vote,” said Scott Ray, co-founder of VoteNav.com. “We created the election comparison view to give people an opportunity to learn about candidates in a one-stop, factual, non-biased manner and compare them side by side.”

VoteNav.com started as a grassroots endeavor to help the voting public find detailed facts about their elected officials, from local representatives to the leaders in the White House, in an easy-to-use, neutral, online format. The website provides profile information for elected officials, including background and career history for the politicians, plus voting records for their terms in office, along with additional political information and the new election comparison view.

The founders of VoteNav.com plan to make further enhancements and changes to the website based on user feedback and the areas people access most often. “We recently launched this website and really want it to become something people can turn to at any time during the year and find unbiased, factual information about elected officials and their political parties, all in one, easy-to-use location,” said Ray. “The only way we can build this into a truly beneficial and useful website for everyone is to gain input on what people want to see and what we can improve, so we encourage site users to send us their feedback.”
