Vovici (voh-VEE-see), the leading provider of Enterprise Feedback Management (EFM), announced today that it has acquired assets from survey software provider, Raosoft Inc. Under the terms of the agreement, Vovici will assume responsibility for providing support for Raosoft's existing EZSurvey and EZReport clients for the duration of their maintenance contracts. Raosoft will retain all business activities, including customer support, for its InterForm product.

Our industry is consolidating and Raosoft believes Vovici is the market leader. As we embarked on the search for a partner, Vovici's vision for the future of online surveys and its reputation for providing exceptional customer service support made them a clear choice

The acquisition strengthens Vovici's ability to move new clients onto its Web-based survey and Enterprise Feedback Management platforms, as the majority of Raosoft's clients are now using desktop software to develop and conduct online surveys. Additionally, this acquisition reinforces Vovici's position within the government market leveraging Raosoft's Federal government client base, which includes the Department of Defense, Department of Homeland Security and Department of the Treasury.

"Our industry is consolidating and Raosoft believes Vovici is the market leader. As we embarked on the search for a partner, Vovici's vision for the future of online surveys and its reputation for providing exceptional customer service support made them a clear choice," said Catherine Rao, chief executive officer of Raosoft. "It was imperative that we find a company that would carry on our tradition of nurturing client relationships, as well as offering innovative products and solutions. Vovici's location next to Washington, D.C. will offer new training and support options to our past customers. By teaming up with Vovici, we feel confident that all of our clients' needs will be met."

EZSurvey and EFM Community (formerly known as SurveySolutions for the Web) were the first two dedicated Web-survey applications and were announced simultaneously in September of 1997 at IT Expo in New York City. "This transaction brings together two great companies that have long been committed to providing world-class survey solutions and support," said Dean Wiltse, chairman and chief executive officer of Vovici. "Vovici and Raosoft have always focused on providing the best solutions for creating, conducting and analyzing online surveys to government, education and enterprise organizations. We are excited to offer Raosoft customers our stellar customer service, as well as a migration path for a robust survey solution that can expand their ability to gather feedback and data that is vital to the growth of their organizations."

Vovici's EFM Continuum is a suite of products for corporate, market research and government markets that contain online survey tools and services to streamline, accelerate and coordinate feedback gathering and reporting.
