New Facilities Increase IVR and Speech Hosting Capacity to Over 45,000 Ports.

Today at the SpeechTEK 2007 conference, Voxeo Corporation, a leading global provider of premise and hosted Interactive Voice Response (IVR) systems, announced the successful deployment of significant new IVR hosting facilities and capabilities.

Hosting Capacity Growth
Voxeo opened a new state-of-the-art hosting center in Las Vegas, while also significantly upgrading its facilities in Atlanta, Orlando, and Slough, United Kingdom. During the expansion Voxeo upgraded over $4M in equipment to new, high-performance, low-voltage solutions from Cisco and Rackable Systems. The investment supports significant new IVR hosting business won by Voxeo over the last six months, including a single customer order of 15,000 ports, or phone lines.

With its recent expansion Voxeo is both the most modern and one of the largest IVR hosting providers in the world. Voxeo's Evolution IVR hosting leverages Prophecy, the company's advanced telephony application platform. Prophecy is built entirely on IETF and W3C standards including SIP, CCXML and VoiceXML and is also sold as customer-premise IVR platform.

As of August 1, 2007, Voxeo hosts over 45,000 telephony platform ports for its customers. In North America, Voxeo's patented Evolution network seamlessly load-balances calls across three geographically redundant U.S. hosting sites. Voxeo's triple site redundancy provides unequaled scalability and reliability. Independently, each Evolution site can handle half of Voxeo's peak call volume.

Together, the three sites can handle 150% of peak call volume, providing significant excess capacity for customer growth. In the unlikely event of a complete site outage Evolution's two remaining sites easily handle 100% of peak call volume. To further increase call capacity and ensure reliability worldwide, Voxeo has expanded Evolution network connectivity from five voice carriers to fifteen, including AT&T, British Telecom, iBasis, Level 3, Global Crossing, Qwest, Verizon/MCI , VSNL/Teleglobe and XO. These voice carriers bring on-demand local and toll-free number availability in more than forty countries to Voxeo's IVR hosting customers.

Voxeo has also expanded Evolution voice recognition capabilities to eleven languages and dialects, including English, French, German, Spanish, Italian, and Arabic, among others. The new voice carriers and recognition capabilities make Voxeo the leading choice for companies requiring hosted IVR in multiple countries and languages. Voxeo will further expand its worldwide presence later this year with the opening of a second E.U. hosting facility.
