One particularly exciting facet to the project is that WarbleFest is looking to include new talent and wants to hear from any bands looking to perform at the event.

Warble Entertainment Agency (http://www.warble-entertainment.com) is a Cheshire based company primarily known for hiring cover bands and entertainers for private events, such as weddings, corporate events, private parties and University events throughout the UK and internationally. However, having spent the last decade building a plethora of contacts within the industry and working with many successful bands and musicians the company realised they had everything they needed to launch a brand new festival.

“WarbleFest was conceived one sunny weekend in Oxfordshire”, explains Warble director Matt Warren. “I was sitting in a field on a glorious day and enjoying the amazing entertainment that the Cornbury Festival was providing and wondered exactly what would be needed to realise something similar in my own region of Cheshire. After looking at the staging, stalls, fairground and even the loos it all seemed a pretty straightforward logistical exercise. I figured that the hardest part would normally be to get the right line-up to attract the audience. However, being in the entertainment sector this was actually the easiest part! So, I went back to Cheshire and after some research and discussions with a few locations and businesses we decided it was completely feasible.”

WarbleFest will take place in August at an as yet undisclosed location in South Cheshire. Plans are in place for a two stage one day festival. Stage one will include contemporary bands with an emphasis on rock and dance, whereas the second stage will be more laid back with some of the UKs most popular acoustic style acts. Whilst the headline acts are confirmed, the organiser is as yet remaining tight-lipped.

“I am so excited with who we have topping the bill and the line-up as a whole that I’m fit to burst! But, as with everything we need to make sure that the timing and marketing is all done properly. All I can say is that while I can’t say much at the moment, people won’t be disappointed. So, watch this space as news and further details will become clear very soon.”

One particularly exciting facet to the project is that WarbleFest is looking to include new talent and wants to hear from any budding bands looking to perform at the event.

“There’s nothing set in stone for what exactly we are looking for. We’ll know when we hear it. It could be cover bands, a totally original performance art project, a Latin band or a full on Grindcore band. We have 3 places left to fill on the bill and we are reserving these for the successful acts. We think it really is a great opportunity to showcase your talent in front of a large crowd and hopefully gain a lot of new fans.”

More details of WarbleFest are scheduled to be released at the beginning of February and any bands looking to be added to the bill are asked to email their details to matt(at)warble-entertainment(dot)com
