Warrior Custom Golf announced today that they will be joining forces with the Down Syndrome Association of Orange County to support the 6th Annual DSAOC Charity Golf Tournament to be held on June 7th at the Los Coyotes Country Club in Buena Park, California. Tom Adams, President of EDM Performance will be hosting this special event, which is close to his heart since he is father to a child with Down syndrome.
“As the president of EDM Performance, the hosting company of DSAOC’s annual golf tournament, I know first hand the importance of having support from the community. Warrior’s contributions will help add value to the event and will also help to create more awareness about people with Down syndrome and the value they bring to their families. This is very personal to me as the father of a child with Down syndrome, and it means the world to our community,” stated Tom Adams, President of EDM Performance.
Several golfers from the greater Orange County area, and NFL stars will be in attendance to show their support for the continued efforts of the DSAOC’s mission to provide the means necessary to empower individuals with Down syndrome to reach their full potential.
“Receiving support from our community is essential to the mission of the Down Syndrome Association of Orange County (DSAOC). We are very thankful to Warrior Custom Golf for their generous donations to our annual golf tournament and auction. We look forward to a continued relationship,” stated Kellie Perez, Director-Community Relations, Down Syndrome Association of Orange County.
The DSAOC was founded in 1978 and today serves more than 2,000 families in and around Orange County. A portion of the proceeds from this year’s tournament will support the CHOC Children’s Down Syndrome Program, which is new alliance between CHOC Children’s and the Down Syndrome Association of Orange County.
