Excerpt from the poem “Mead”:

For, many a warrior
this elixir has pleased,
from the honey of heather
in green highland hills.
If you reached up, and squeezed
the milk from heaven’s breast,
the catch in your flask
would be Mead.

“These give way to short fiction all playing through the mind inviting capture,” says Salmon. “It has been a rich and varied hunt.” He invites readers to step through the portal and share in his world.
