The Inc. 5000 is an expansion of the Inc. 500, a list introduced by the small business magazine in 1982. The list is ranked according to percentage revenue growth over a four-year period, and companies must be independent, privately held and based in the United States to qualify for selection.
OMAX boosted revenues from $25.3 million in 2004 to $62.7 million in 2007 for a 147% revenue growth and a place in the top 50% of companies on the list.
