'EnviroMinute' Television Shorts to Feature Solutions for Our Environment

"EnviroMinute" is a new series of weekly :30 and :60 second news-style informational vignettes that look at recent studies, new technologies and different ways of conducting business while featuring the individuals, companies and organizations solving today's environmental problems. The segments are produced for both Public Television and for national targeted placement along with archiving the videos through online syndication.

Wayne Productions announced today that beginning in 2009 a new series of television shorts called "EnviroMinute" will be launched for nationwide distribution.

The series of weekly :30 and :60 second news-style informational vignettes look at recent studies, new technologies and different ways of conducting business while featuring the individuals, companies and organizations solving today's environmental problems. The segments are produced for both Public Television and for national targeted placement along with archiving the videos through online syndication.

Targeted placement for the "EnviroMinute" series is planned for Discovery Channel's new Planet Green network and on the syndicated morning business program "First Business". They can also be made available for placement on almost any television network.

The series is timely as President-elect Barack Obama has publicly pledged to invest $150 billion over 10 years in advanced energy technologies, while also promoting an increase in green jobs and the combating of global warming a top priority.

"There are thousands of companies and organizations that are placing great effort to solve our environmental issues," said Karl Wayne, Executive Producer of the series. "The environment is one of the most talked about subjects today and concerned citizens want to know what solutions are available. We are very excited about placing more positive environmental programming in front of the American public with these short-form segments." Wayne went on to say, "We want to go beyond just giving tips, we want to tell the Who, What, Why and Where with these stories so companies and consumers can take action."
