Feels like Flash, but it's Not; Interactive Agency Launches New Site, Highlights Consumer, B2B Portfolio

We built our new site using the same methods and tools we recommend to our clients

What do consumer, B-to-B, healthcare, technology and financial web sites have in common? Not much, unless they've been developed by the award-winning team at Loewy Design Inc. (http://www.loewydesign.com), an interactive agency specializing in online branding, web design and internet business solutions. To showcase their broad portfolio - and to share a little of their design mojo - Loewy Design has become its own client, launching a fresh new site.

>>> Loewy Design was recently recognized by the Webby Awards, the "Oscars of the Internet," for its redesign of the Facts on File - Science Online web site. Learn more here: http://www.prweb.com/releases/2008/05/prweb906644.htm.

The redesigned site conveys the animated feeling of Adobe Flash, but it's actually coded in HTML using technologies such as cascading style sheets (CSS), JavaScript, Ajax and jQuery. By utilizing these newer web development techniques, Loewy Design delivered a great looking and functioning web experience, while yielding increased search visibility plus optimal performance and cross-browser compatibility without plug-ins.

"We built our new site using the same methods and tools we recommend to our clients," said David Loewy, President of Loewy Design. "Our web site design approach starts with an integrated strategy based on our clients' business objectives - whether it's building community, selling products or capturing leads."

The new Loewy Design site showcases the talents of its design and programming team, with highlights of its client work ranging from consumer sites like Quality Health for healthcare information and the SpledidLife.com site for Splenda sweetener products, to financial sites like Standard & Poor's for investor relations services and Phanfare for social networking and photo sharing.

The redesigned Loewy Design site has been hailed by design peers for its "intuitive navigation and portfolio gallery," "clean use of Javascript navigation," "great AJAX implementation" and "elegant home page without a single useless element."

The new site also features archives of Loewy Design's popular newsletter "Loewy's Latest," chronicled by year: http://www.loewydesign.com/latest.

Loewy encourages visitors to leave the team a note - and a doodle - on their contact page: http://www.loewydesign.com/contact_us.
