After suffering losses from website hacking, despite having Internet security software installed, two fed-up victims set out to create a website security package that bites back. One invention and one patent later, they unveiled SecureLive, a website security solution that utilizes artificial intelligence to automatically block, tag, track and report hackers to authorities.
According to SecureLive spokesperson "Current website security products on the market just don't do a good enough job in protecting you and have no way of preventing future attacks from occurring again. Bottom line is, you need your website protected but you also need a mechanism that keeps these criminals from coming back over and over, stealing and causing damage to your website without penalty. Through the use of artificial intelligent monitoring, we have invented a data security system that blocks malicious website attacks and also triggers offensive features that sting the attacker, forcing them to reconsider coming back."
"As I found out, having security badges, SSL encryption, scanning, and vulnerability reporting on your site doesn't prevent your site from being robbed or hacked," says marketing director Fred Sarhadi. "Lack of standards and product disclosure led me to believe, like many other people, that paying for these services meant my website was safe and that someone was overseeing my account, making sure I was free from repeat offenders. That turned out not to be the case. For the most part, my defense was a graphic to place on my site and a weekly vulnerability report. I guess I was protecting my business using a reporter instead of a police officer."
"PC security software is great for protecting your PC from resident viruses, while internet security software is great for protecting you from malware that can infect your PC through the web, SSL is great for protecting sensitive data during transmittals, PCI compliance helps minimize fraud and protects the credit card industry, none of these types of security solutions protect your website or offer information security. If you think they do, thing again. So, who or what IS protecting your website? You need to ask yourself that question. If you can't answer this question yourself, chances are very good your website is not protected," explains Jeff Brown, Chief Software Engineer.
"Personally, I got tired of spending money on reports and never ending vulnerability tests," said SecureLive marketing director. "The shocking truth is vulnerabilities will never go away and you will go broke trying to address them all, it's like hitting a moving target in an ever-changing environment. That is why we focused our attention on the cause and not the symptoms of web security. By actively blocking and ambushing the attacker we expose and restrict their activities. It's OK to leave your windows open if you don't allow anyone on the island."
By tagging hackers, SecureLive automatically captures the hacker signature utilizing advanced tracing including geo-tracking to notify authorities. The system builds the case against the hacker by recording and capturing their activities for evidence. The evidence is then submitted to authorities for review and further action. The hacker is blocked from future visits to the site and is blacklisted by their ISP as well. All incidents are even followed up with direct ISP contact by a SecureLive team member to ensure violators are properly dealt with.
SecureLive has improved the website protection equation with a simple well thought out product. This patented product outperforms all other solutions while including the kick in the pants intruders and hackers deserve. The product works for businesses of any size and has the types of features those merchants and business owners have only dreamed about.
