Best Web sites announced in 10th Annual WebAward Competition covering 96 industries including military.

http://www.webaward.org -- The Web Marketing Association is pleased to announce the Best of the Military Industry Website Winner for the 10th annual international WebAward Competition, the Internet’s premier website award competition.

The Military represents a unique category in the WebAward competition as many of the sites are not available to the public; however the website serves as a crucial destination for information for military personnel.

“Military websites are very important in the dissemination of information to end-users,” said William Rice, President of the Web Marketing Association. “For this reason it is important that content and ease of use are high priorities when developing Military websites. The judges’ feedback during the WebAwards gives entrant the information they need to take the site to the next level.”

All military websites are judged on the same seven criteria including:

  •      Design
  •     Innovation
  •     Content
  •     Technology
  •     Interactivity
  •     Copy writing
  •     Ease of use

The overarching goal of the WebAward Competition is to provide a forum to recognize the people and organizations responsible for developing the most effective military websites on the Net today.

This year’s best web sites along with past WebAward winners in the Military category are:
