From the 2014 HR Technology Conference and Exhibition in Las Vegas, Apploi announces its shortlisting for PITCH, where 200 of the world’s most promising and innovative startups will “pitch” on four different stages to 150+ judges at Web Summit in Dublin Ireland 4-6 November 2014. The list of those selected dot the globe and are from 36 countries. The judging panel spent several weeks shortlisting both seed (ALPHA) and early-stage (BETA) companies to battle it out to become startup of the year. Apploi is shortlisted as one of the 100 BETA companies.
Apploi is the groundbreaking candidate capture point which solves some of the most challenging recruiting problems, including high turnover, protracted time to fill positions, and inability to see personality until later in the process.
Apploi is accessible through its free mobile app, public and private iPad kiosks, and its website. Apploi’s public network of iPad job kiosks can be found in community and job centers, libraries, shopping malls, and workforce centers across the country. Job applicants are able to showcase their personalities upfront, through a portfolio section and by responding to audio and video questions set by companies. Through many outreach tools such as company pages, organizations are able to expand brand awareness and build a community of jobseekers eager to fill open positions when they arise.
