We cater for every style of bride whether you are after a contemporary or traditional wedding dress
(PRWEB) May 22, 2008
The Melbourne Bride Expo will be held at the Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Centre on Saturday 21 June and Sunday 22 June 2008. Brides will be inspired by the latest bridal trends from big name designers.
Bride magazine's annual event showcases Melbourne's most sought after wedding dress designers, under the one roof in a spectacular theatrical show.
The catwalk show, which is on three times daily, is the equivalent of fashion week for brides. Mariana Hardwick and Gwendolynne Burkin are just some of the couture labels set to showcase their latest offerings, with well-known Melbourne milliner Richard Nylon to create the headpieces for Gwendolynne's show.
Bride magazine fashion editor Kirstie Armiger-Grant says the fashion shows are always exciting and not to be missed. "We cater for every style of bride whether you are after a contemporary or traditional wedding dress," Kirstie says. "But above all, it's a really entertaining day."
The Expo also brings more than 100 stalls of quality wedding suppliers under one roof, allowing couples to meet stationers, photographers, venue operators and many more suppliers. In a recent Melbourne Bride focus group, it was found that expos are fast becoming the best option for time-harried brides-to-be to gather inspiration and ideas for their wedding in one stop.
