Geyserville, CA (PRWEB) June 19, 2012

The premier Sonoma wine tasting and wedding venue, Geyser Peak Winery, is now introducing the 2007 Walking Tree Cabernet, a full-bodied red wine and a perennial favorite that showcases the depth of Alexander Valley. Consisting of 92-percent cabernet sauvignon with 8-percent shiraz, the wine is simply decadent.

“We recommend ordering now before this wine is sold out,” Lisa Flohr of Geyser Peak Winery said. “Purchase six bottles or more and shipping is complimentary. Simply enter BLOCKSHIP at checkout.”

A dense ruby color, this cabernet explodes with expressive aromas of black cherry and cassis complimented by notes of black pepper, mocha and vanilla. The palate is a mouthful of ripe berries and spice, seamlessly integrated into a long finish of fine-grained tannins. The core of this wine is sourced from the Walking Tree vineyard of Sonoma’s Geyser Peak Winery. Added complexity has also been achieved by the utilization of other bench and hillside blocks, as well as the addition of 8-percent shiraz, also from the Walking Tree vineyard.

“Though great wine can be found in the city, when our readers want the wine tour, they head north to Geyser Peak Winery,” said San Francisco Magazine’s Best of the Bay Area 2011 Readers Poll.
