Theresa Monturano and Alejo Pesce, owners of wedding photography company Flutter Photo, have more than just a business commitment to each other; they have decided to devote their lives to one another. On May 15, 2010, for two people who are always surrounded by enchantment and adulation, Theresa and Alejo were asked to share their classic love story. The Washington Post was there to cover the elegant nuptials, and share their classic love story, as two [wedding photographers] said “I Do”.
The Washington Post offers an “I Do” page on its website, offering three to five minute video clips covering weddings in the D.C. and surrounding areas. This week, Theresa and Alejo were the focal point as the Washington Post covered their tempting love story. Covering everything from their first meeting, to their courting session, engagement, and wedding day, these two wedding photojournalists finally got to be on the other side of the lens. They were married at Viewmont Farm in Charlottesville Virginia on a perfect day in May. The wedding was small but intimate and held their closest friends and family. The weather was fabulous and truly gave them the wedding they deserved. The ceremony was performed by their close friend, the vows were written by the bride and groom, and the tears were all real. Love was in the air and it was felt by all in attendance May 15, 2010.
Covering only the most elegant and unique [wedding] stories, The Washington Post knew that two very talented wedding photographers finding love within one another, is more of a love story than most can dream. Reflecting work they portray as wedding photographers, Theresa and Alejo truly portray the idea of happily ever after.
