San Francisco, CA (PRWEB) June 22, 2012
Habit Project, a private practice in San Francisco that offers services such as weight loss hypnotherapy and smoking cessation hypnotherapy, is announcing a free tele-class on July 12 to help people fall asleep faster, sleep more deeply and wake up more refreshed.
“In 2011, The National Sleep Foundation released a sleep poll showing that 63 percent of Americans said they weren’t getting enough sleep,” William Song of Habit Project said. “Sleep experts have found that a lack of sleep can cause car accidents, increased irritability and lower productivity at work. And it can hurt physical health as well, including a decreased immune system. We need a higher quality of sleep to counter these problems."
Insomnia has multiple causes, and this tele-class will focus on the busy mind (i.e. internal radio). One common cause of insomnia is that people think too much, which is like having a mental radio pumping out lots of static. Through hypnosis, one can reduce the static in the mental radio. Once the radio is quiet, a person can fall asleep more quickly, stay asleep more deeply and wake up with more energy.
Most people are unaware that hypnosis can help people with sleep. Most people know of hypnotherapy to quit smoking and weight loss hypnosis. But now more people are using hypnosis for better sleep.
“Thousands of scientific studies have been done on hypnotherapy, and it’s been proven to be a safe and effective tool for a wide range of issues,” Song said.
