Raising Funds to Fight Breast Cancer: Westbury Toyota Hosts "Street Wheelz" Car Show

Westbury Toyota, one of the premium Long Island Toyota dealers in the area, has announced a special event for car fans and fanatics alike. Both are welcome to visit the dealership with their rides this month.

We are looking to bring an event that not only will create an entertaining and friendly-competitive environment for car fanatics but will also help raise awareness and funds for a good cause.

Long Island Toyota dealers may not offer special events for fans to visit the dealership and enjoy local entertainment, but Westbury Toyota is bringing one of the best kinds of car shows to its customers. On Sunday, October 13, 2013, Westbury Toyota is bringing the “Street Wheelz” Car Show to many guests and car fans from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Westbury Toyota, as one of the local Long Island Toyota dealers, has partnered with Pink S.H.O.E.S INC in the efforts to raise money for Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

National Breast Cancer Month brings together an international health campaign every October, while organizing major breast cancer charities every to increase awareness of breast cancer and to help raise funds for the cause with more research into its cause, prevention, diagnosis, treatment and cure.

“We are looking to bring an event that not only will create an entertaining and friendly-competitive environment for car fanatics but will also help raise awareness and funds for a good cause,” said Stephanie Lupo, Director of Business Development. “Our dealership is ready to bring the fun and excitement of the rivalry between domestics and import models while helping such a great foundation for breast cancer.”

There is more than one way that guests, fans and owners can help give back to the cause. First, there will be t-shirts and accessories available that will help fund and raise money for Pink S.H.O.E.S INC. Also, there will be multiple raffles with tickets beings sold for $3 per person. Prizes for the raffles range from football or baseball tickets to a remote starter kit and concert tickets. All raffle monetary contributions during the “Street Wheelz” Car Show will be donated directly to Pink S.H.O.E.S INC.

Westbury Toyota is bringing the “Street Wheelz” Car Show to many guests and car fans. Everyone is encouraged to bring their families and friends to join Westbury Toyota for this great event. There will be five car show contest winners, and they will each take home with them a large trophy along with bragging-rights to boot.

Guests and car fans will enjoy a DJ on site along with free hot dogs, hamburgers, soda and water. More than 500 people have already RSVP’d and are ready to join the show.
