West Sound Academy (WSA) will be hosting its 15th Annual Auction on November 17, 2012 at the Sons of Norway Hall. The benefit will raise funds for scholarships providing access to WSA’s highly regarded college preparatory education to students from diverse economic backgrounds. Over 40% of the students at WSA receive financial assistance.

I always knew that West Sound was an amazing place but I am blown out of the water by how truly amazing it is. I feel so lucky that my son has this opportunity. - quote from current 9th grade parent.

West Sound Academy hosts its annual auction to help raise funds for scholarships with a, “Shake, Rattle and Roll," theme.

West Sound Academy is a college preparatory school that graduates accomplished, creative, intellectually curious young adults who will contribute responsibly to the world. WSA’s Board of Trustees has recently completed a five year strategic planning process affirming their mission and vision of the school.

While the students are the stars of the auction, the true reasons for its success are the parents and community members who continue to organize and donate to the event. Generous contributions have come in from small and large businesses alike to provide excellent holiday shopping at the silent auction and wonderful experiences and items in the Live Auction.

WSA is already enrolling students for the 2013-2104 school year and will host Admissions Open Houses on December 4, 2012; January 15, 2013, February 5, 2013, and May 7, 2013. There are two merit scholarship events per year that new applicants may participate in one: Middle School Scholarship Day on December 8 and Founder’s Scholarship Day on February 9, 2013.
