Wheelhouse Investment Real Estate Brokerage introduces a new property review site designed to filter through the hodgepodge of listings on the market to identify what has been coined "The Wheel Deal," or the broker's inside scoop. Every property review details the pros and cons of both the building and its neighborhood, in addition to the Wheel Deal, specifically how and why the property can make sound investment sense to an investor. These reviews distill much of the marketing noise that investors dig through when reviewing ads online and in marketing fliers.
Wheelhouse advisors review dozens of buildings every week, so they decided to create an online database to share their reviews with investors, enabling them to quickly digest the deals. The review site ties directly into Wheelhouse's proprietary technology that founders Justin Shreve and Michael Thomas have been developing for the last 18 months.
"Brokers are already sharing this type of information amongst themselves, so why not open the doors and let the public know the same?" states Shreve. "We shouldn't be gatekeepers of information, but rather catalysts to helping our investors make money."
"What a great change of pace," says Andy McDonald of Legacy Partners, owners and operators of over $6 billion in real estate assets. "These guys are really committed to smart innovation, and are actually delivering the insight that investors care about. Having an up-to-the-minute website full of reviews from brokers who eat and breathe this business is extremely helpful."
The interactivity of the site - its photos, dynamic street views and live chats - has caught the eye of the discerning investment shopper. The local Wheelhouse team is currently covering San Francisco, Alameda and Santa Clara counties, but created the review site's platform to scale geographically with the company.
