The author contends that America’s declining moral state is due to losing the fear of God. Mr. von Hammerstein explains America once held a godly fear that was instilled through its public school system, where the alphabet was taught through biblical scriptures. The letter “B” stood for “Better is little with the fear of the LORD than great treasure and trouble therewith” (Pr 15:16). Yet today, there is an increasing concern surrounding the quality of American education. Could it be because the foundations of the word of God and the fear of God have been removed from the public school system?
