Update to WhosOn software improves performance

This software release comes after a year of development by the Parker Software team to improve performance and scalability and introduce new features and improvements on existing ones such as Pre/Post Chat surveys, operator activity reporting, remote administration, customisable chat window themes, CRM integration, additional security and further enhancements to its unique live chat translation.
One of the key features improved in version 5 is the live chat translation so that if someone connects to a website and their browser settings are in their native language their conversation and that of the online company operator will be translated, currently supporting 16 different languages, enabling companies to operate more freely and quickly without the need for translators in overseas markets.
Further key changes include a redesign to the backend database to offer better performance, better reporting and lower disk space usage for the same number of visitors.
In relation to improvement to Visitor Tracking there is improved spider detection plus the ability to add custom spider user agents to the database. Web owners can also now monitor visitors on-line form entries in real time and the new version also allows anonymous proxy server detection i.e. visitors are flagged if they are using an anonymous proxy server.
For web site owners a new asset to the software is fully customizable pre and post chat surveys. These can be used to collect data from the visitor before and after chat sessions. The data collected is shown to operators during chats and is stored in the database for future reporting.
All of the updates and new features are available immediately for all customers with current support contracts in place and without any additional fees. WhosOn Version 5 is now available in both a hosted and installable format a unique offering and in 4 editions to suit different business sizes and types: Standard, Professional, Enterprise & ISP Editions.
Parker Software is continuing its push of developing its suite of software products and adding new features and will continue to focus on attracting new customers to its quickly expanding base of clientele. In the last year alone the company has seen growth in excess of 50%.
