Widen Refreshes UI, Simplifies Workflow
MADISON, Wis. (Business Wire EON/PRWEB ) March 26, 2008 --
Widen Enterprises, an industry-pacesetting digital asset management
(DAM) provider, has released their 5.1 spring update. Widen’s
aggressive release cycle continues to prompt the software-as-a-service
(SaaS) industry to modify applications to meet Web 2.0 expectations.
Widen’s most recent update to the digital
asset management database as well as the Backdrop™
application include an overall refresh of the user interface, expanded
options for both users and administrators regarding asset uploads and
routing and also increased search and instant download capabilities.
Widen has also supplemented their video asset management capabilities
with DVD authoring. This will allow video asset users to view their
video files on any DVD enabled device, rather than strictly on a
computer when viewing video files in a data format.
