“Forgiveness, or the lack of, will greatly influence your life,” says Campbell. “I want readers to take away a sense of family and heritage, with faith holding it together.”

The act of forgiving does not come easy for many people. In fact, it can feel devastating, unhelpful and even frightening. In his passionate and stirring new novelThe Goldsboro Curve” (published by AuthorHouse), author William Campbell takes an unflinching look at the effects of an unforgiving heart.

Set in the Appalachian Hills of Southern Ohio during the 1950s and ‘60s, “The Goldsboro Curve” tells the stories of Buck and Cliff, young men who end up in similar circumstances but get there in very different ways. As classmates, Cliff enjoyed the misery bullies administered to others while Buck viciously fought back and was utterly unforgiving in his attacks.

Through fights, legal predicaments and renewed senses of faith, the characters in Campbell’s rich novel undergo a coming of age that is both inspiring and instructive, while showing the impact of the hot rod culture on industry and society.

“Forgiveness, or the lack of, will greatly influence your life,” says Campbell. “I want readers to take away a sense of family and heritage, with faith holding it together.”
