Palos Verdes Estates, CA (PRWEB) August 01, 2013 -- With the recent revelations of the NSA and Edward Snowden, clandestine operations and spies are no longer something from a James Bond movie. Former U.S. Intelligence operative William Sewell has always known this. In his new book, “Nonofficial Asset: The Iran Affair” (published by AuthorHouse), a CIA operative embarks on a mission to find out who killed his partner and uncovers something much bigger than a murder.
Clandestine veteran William Sewell has channeled his own experience into a unique outlet- a razor sharp, harrowing and intelligence-steeped page turner that will keep you up long after you put the book down. “It is fast paced, action packed loaded with clandestine technology that most folks don’t know about,” says Sewell. “It has been compared to Tom Clancy by one reader and James Bond by the Dublin Courier Herald.”
Peyton Stone leads a double life. His day job is a cover story, smoke and mirrors hiding his true job as a CIA contractor, a Nonofficial Asset, called in by the government when it doesn’t officially want to be involved. When Peyton’s partner is found murdered in his Shanghai hotel room, Peyton teams up with Harry Morrison, a brilliant and eccentric CIA handler. Together the two uncover a dastardly plot involving stolen nuclear weapons and a rogue Iranian admiral, whose actions have severe global implications and ties to the White House.
A thrilling adventure from start to finish, “Nonofficial Asset” takes readers to the edges of their seats. Sewell says, “It’s an escape into the world of international intrigue and the clandestine life.”
