Any one with a broken board can take a photo of the damaged board and submit it along with a short story regarding the event

The surfboard contest, which targets US residences only, will give a brand new Semi Gun 7' 2" to the winner, with two runner up prizes of $300 and $100 off the purchase of any new Kitson Board.

The idea for the contest came shortly after an employee at Kitson Boards broke his surfboard while out on the waves in Westport, Washington.

"The waves were really good that day and I didn't get to surf anymore," said Kitson Boards Admin Service Supervisor, Rory Douglas.
