WindowsWear organizes and showcases the world’s fashion windows, similar to how Fashion Week organizes and showcases the world’s fashion designers.
New York, NY (PRWEB) June 11, 2013
WindowsWear, the world’s fashion windows online in real-time, has announced that it will begin releasing its photography shooting schedule to the global fashion industry.
The shooting schedule is privately distributed via email to a select list of heads of visual merchandising and digital marketing, and executives of the fashion retailers that WindowsWear features from around the world. WindowsWear currently features 2,000 unique fashion windows from more than 500 different stores from Barcelona, London, Milan, New York, and Paris.
“WindowsWear decided to release its shooting schedule in order to better coordinate and communicate with the global fashion industry,” said Jon Harari, CEO & Co-Founder of WindowsWear. “The goal is to significantly drive traffic and attention to the world’s fashion windows throughout the year. There is value in organizing and coordinating the world’s fashion windows, similar to how Fashion Week organizes and showcases the world’s fashion designers. Eventually, consumers will be able to anticipate and be excited about the arrival of new windows, similar to the Christmas windows during the holiday shopping season.”
The release of the shooting schedule will allow fashion retail stores to have their windows displays prepared and ready for shooting. “WindowsWear is building a global audience around the world's fashion windows, increasing the number of people that experience the world’s fashion windows, which in turn increases revenue through e-commerce and in-store purchases,” said Mike Niemtzow, President & CFO. In addition, users will know when images of new window displays will be updated to the site.
