San Francisco, CA (PRWEB) August 31, 2012
As a European cafe and wine bar, Food Inc. Trattoria is dedicated to seeking out and featuring wines from small producers, both local and international. As part of its ongoing monthly wine tasting events, Food Inc. Trattoria is hosting a wine tasting of regional Spanish wines from Juan Gil Bodegas on Sept. 26, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
“Travel from the Mediterranean Coast inland to the sandy soils in Segovia in a delicious series of sips,” Winifred Dajani of Food Inc. Trattoria said. “Wine Spectator will be featuring one of the wines, Blau, from Cellars Can Blau in its upcoming issue.”
Cultivating vineyards and making wine for almost a century in Spain, the Gil Family estates are committed to the traditional winemaking techniques and indigenous varietals that characterize the unique terroir of each region.
Veteran wine expert Andy Fromm, who has traveled extensively in Spain, visiting the Gil Family's bodegas, is pouring and discussing the wines and their regions. This event is a great opportunity to knit Spanish culture and region with the delicious wines they produce.
"This is part of an ongoing series of monthly tasting events hosted by Food Inc. Trattoria. We will also serve a pairing plate that complements the featured wines," Dajani said.
