The basic wine tasting at Bourassa was a very pleasant experience
Napa, CA (PRWEB) January 20, 2012
Napa’s Valley’s Bourassa Vineyards invites everyone to help it celebrate its ten-year anniversary with a lavish dinner on Jan. 21. The Wine Maker Dinner features a four-course meal that begins at 6:30 p.m. in the Fireside Room at Restaurant Cuvée, located at 1650 Soscol Ave. in Napa. Reservations are limited to thirty guests and cost $90 per person. Each couple will receive a gift.
Cuvee Restaurant’s Executive Chef, Jordan Mackey, will offer four courses specially paired with Bourassa’s wines. The first course will feature a winter root beet salad, followed by a succulent duck breast entrée. After, patrons will be presented with tender roasted beef short ribs and a dessert of poached pear drenched in a port wine chocolate sauce.
For 10 years, Bourassa's winemaking philosophy has been simple: create something special; something that anyone would be proud to share with friends and family. The wines, no matter what the wine varietal, are painstakingly handcrafted in small lots. The winery carefully creates rich, complex blends using grapes from premiere, hand-tended Napa Valley vineyards as they showcase the terroir that has become so well known throughout the world.
On Yelp.com, Jody K. of Irvine, Calif., said, “The basic wine tasting at Bourassa was a very pleasant experience. The owner included the barrel tasting and blending for free, and it was pretty awesome! I highly recommend the barrel tasting and blending. I personally liked merlot from the barrel.”

About Bourassa Vineyards
Bourassa Vineyards, Napa’s wine tasting winery has produced 3,500 cases of wine to date, and much of the winery's attention is devoted to the five Bordeaux varietals: Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Malbec, Merlot and Petit Verdot. Additionally, Bourassa produces a port made via the Solera system - a system that uses fractional blending in such a way that the finished port is a mixture of ages with the average age of the port gradually increasing.
Please set up an appointment to visit with Bourassa Vineyards and enjoy a truly unique tasting and wine-education experience. As Vic Bourassa likes to say, "we look forward to sharing with you our passion for wine and commitment to quality. Cheers and celebrate life!"
