They make their wines in small lots from premium Estate-grown grapes. They are dedicated to producing high quality wines that are perfect for any occasion.
Kastania Vineyards' exclusive wine club membership entitles members to a special discount and access to some of their choicest wines. They produce only 800 to 1,000 cases of award-winning Sonoma County wines each year. Now, they are introducing three new wines to the market including the 2008 Kastania Pinot Noir, Estate, Proprietor’s Reserve; the 2008 Kastania Pinot Noir, Estate, Jaden & Keira’s Cuvee; and the 2008 Kastania Proprietor’s Blend, Estate, 63% Cabernet Franc and 37% Cabernet Sauvignon. They are also holding an End of Vintage sale on 2006 Kastania Pinot Noir’s, Proprietor’s Reserve.
Kastania Vineyards is home to three grape varietals: Pinot Noir, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc. Fermentation is performed in open top fermenters with daily monitoring for brix and temperature until dry. The results speak for themselves and the quality of their wine has been recognized year after year by some of the most distinguished judges in the country.
