Hannah Nicole Vineyards and Winery is offering a preview of its latest limited production and reserve wines at the 7th annual Barrel Tasting weekend in March.

Hannah Nicole will host its 7th annual Barrel Tasting weekend on March 9-11.

We’re looking forward to this year’s Barrel Tasting, which will provide a glimpse of our painstakingly crafted, small lot and reserve collection wines.

Hannah Nicole Vineyards and Winery, Brentwood’s First Winery, is celebrating its 7th annual Barrel Tasting weekend on March 9th, 10th and 11th. The three-day event will offer attendee’s a chance to preview the winery’s latest limited production and reserve wines from Contra Costa and other appellations.

The Barrel Tasting will offer wine enthusiasts the first chance to taste Hannah Nicole’s upcoming fall 2012 future releases and take advantage of this year’s pre-sales opportunities. This year, Hannah Nicole will showcase a variety of red and white wines including:

  •     2011 Chardonnay, Chalk Hill, Reserve
  •     2010 Meritage, Estate
  •     2010 Mt. Diablo Reserve, Estate
  •     2010 Malbec, Row 91, Estate
  •     2010 Cabernet Sauvignon, French Barrel Selection, Estate
  •     2010 Petite Sirah, Lot 116, Estate

Hannah Nicole’s Barrel Tasting Weekend will kick-off on Friday, March 9th, with access for wine-club members only and will continue on Saturday and Sunday, March 10th and 11th, with admission open to wine-club members and the general public. The advance ticket purchase price is $15.00 for wine-club members and $20.00 for non-members. The ticket price will be $25.00 for both members and the general public starting on March 9th – the first day of the event. Ticket holders are entitled to participate during multiple days throughout the weekend (Saturday and Sunday for non-members and all three days for members). During the event, guests will also be able to enjoy light hors d’oeuvres and live jazz.

Hannah Nicole’s upcoming releases, which are now in the barrel, are available for purchase by the general public at significantly discounted or “futures” basis pricing. Additional discounts will be available for wine-club members.

Buyers will have the opportunity to purchase Hannah Nicole wines in 1.5 liter magnums and large formats as well as standard, 750 ml bottles. The wines will be available for shipment or pick-up in November, after they have been bottled and aged in the cellar.
