Sunbelt Business Brokers announced the successful sale of an International Trading Company based in Milwaukee, WI to a private investor from Ohio.

Frank Orlando, a Milwaukee Wisconsin business broker and M&A advisor with Sunbelt Midwest represented the seller in the transaction, managed the marketing process, procured the buyer, and managed the transaction through to its closing.

The client company that was sold is engaged in the sale of a very unique raw material commodity used in the production of leather goods. The commodities are sourced and sold throughout the world. The company and its owners had been in the leather business for nearly 50 years.    

Frank J Orlando and Sunbelt worked closely with the owners to determine a valuation, and developed a comprehensive strategy to confidentially market the business to buyers locally, nationally and internationally.

By leveraging the strength of the Sunbelt International network, over 150 potential buyers were interviewed and screened from as far away as Europe and Asia. Fourteen written letters of intent or offers to purchase were reviewed and negotiated.
