Foreign-language speakers have been using Wix for quite some time. By providing better means of support to these users, Wix is strengthening ties between our foreign-speaking users, and the broader Wix community.

As internet start-up Wix.com continues to draw in more users with its free website builder, the company responds to the needs of its international user base. Wix's product is a website editor that enables the creation of a Flash website through an intuitive drag-and-drop process. Users select from an array of expertly fashioned free templates, and then customize them using a graphic-based editor.
Wix's foreign language users are now invited to stay tuned in to the latest Wix news. Spanish and Italian Facebook fan pages were released earlier this month. These pages receive daily translated updates of Wix promotions, server status, product updates, design tips, and links to web design blogs. Spanish and Italian Twitter accounts are connected to the Facebook pages, and receive the same updates. Last week, Wix launched its Spanish and Italian e-mail distribution, notifying those users of the new social media channels. Improvements have also been made to Wix’s French, Italian and Spanish landing pages, in terms of page layout and functionality.
Significant translation efforts are also being made to the Wix Help Center. Known also as Wixpedia, the Help Center is a well-crafted wiki website loaded with helpful articles, video tutorials and an ISQ field, generating answers to specific questions. An immensely helpful resource for all Wix users, the Spanish, Italian and French versions of the Wix Help Center are now under construction. Wix's Help Center will be officially "speaking Spanish" as well as Italian in just a few weeks.
Marketing Director Omer Shai describes Wix's objectives in launching the new channels: "Foreign-language speakers have been using Wix for quite some time. By providing better means of support to these users, Wix is strengthening ties between our foreign-speaking users, and the broader Wix community." Future plans for the coming year include releasing Spanish, Italian and French versions of the website builder itself.
Wix.com was founded in 2005 and has grown to include over 3.5 million free user accounts. The company's headquarters are in New York, with satellite offices located in Tel Aviv. Wix is funded by Mangrove Capital Partners, Bessemer Venture Partners and Benchmark Capital.
