By moving to WizeHive, we will save our agencies time and money, make it easier for our volunteers to review applications and help the environment by saving trees. It was an easy decision and we believe an excellent investment, as well.

Kauai United Way has launched its 2012 invitation to grant applications for support of social service programs on the Hawaiian island of Kauai. While grants from other sources often require donations be tied to special projects, Kauai United Way funding is unrestricted. Participating Agencies can use money received for whatever purpose is most important for them to help serve the people of Kauai. For the first time ever, the Kauai United Way application process has gone completely paperless by moving to WizeHive’s online Grant Application Manager.
“We’re excited about going paperless,” said Kauai United Way executive director Scott Giarman. “Our agency application process is very rigorous. We ask our agencies for a ton of information so we can properly evaluate how efficiently and effectively they are able to deliver meaningful services to the people of our island. In the past, this required a stack of paper about a foot thick per applicant. By moving to WizeHive, we will save our agencies time and money, make it easier for our volunteers to review applications and help the environment by saving trees. It was an easy decision and we believe an excellent investment, as well.”
“Several local United Way campaigns power applications through WizeHive,” says Mike Levinson, WizeHive CEO. “It is inspiring to see how each group works to improve the quality of life in their communities.”
WizeHive offers a cloud-based platform that automates an organization’s forms, workflows and business processes. These tools have been used to automate contests with WizeHive's Online Contest Software; scholarships with WizeHive's Scholarship Management Software; sales processes and more.
