Network Insurance Services, LLC has been granted an exclusive agreement through Cost Reduction Technologies LLC to offer one-of-a-kind pre-employment testing technology to businesses throughout Colorado. Pre-employment testing helps businesses review an applicant's ability before hiring, and helps avoid costly workers compensation issues for non-qualified employees.

"We're very excited to be the only insurance agency in Colorado with the ability to bring this unique form of testing to our business clients," stated Nick Vuolo, Principal for Network Insurance Services LLC. "Successful businesses are always looking for cost reduction possibilities. With this unique testing service, they will now be able to avoid many of the timely and costly errors associated with hiring a person unqualified for a position based on their physical capabilities."

Cost Reduction Technologies (CRT) provides Isokinetic Testing, which matches the physical capability of the worker with the physical demand of the job. It is not a medical test. Instead, the isokinetic machine measures force through a range of motion, and has the ability to determine the force that a body is capable of producing.

Because CRT's pre-employment test is not a medical test, it can be administered pre-offer. According to The Code of Federal Regulations of the Americans With Disabilities Act, it is acceptable to require a candidate to demonstrate that he/she may be able to perform the required functions of the job before any offer is made. By administering this pre-employment test early in the process, a business can successfully reject candidates that are not qualified to carry out the physical requirements of the positions, and thus reduce on the job injuries, and lengthy workers compensation insurance claims over time.

CRT testing can also benefit employers through post-injury assessment. If an employee is off work due to an injury, the Isokinetic Test provides an objective test to ensure the worker has attained the required strength to safely perform his or her regular job functions. It avoids an employee from returning to work too early, and re-injuring a previous condition.

"For many Colorado business owners, risk management dominates a good portion of their time," stated Vuolo. "We're excited to have a way to partner with these businesses, and help them create a risk management plan that will not only help them save money, but help them reduce costs associated with on the job injuries."
