We look forward to continuing our momentum and will be introducing a new industry changing product later this year.

WorkForce Software, Inc., the leader in workforce management solutions for organizations with complex labor requirements and compliance concerns, reported today that revenue for the first two quarters of 2009 increased by 64-percent over the same period last year.

A key growth factor was WorkForce Software's development of a fatigue management solution that enables utilities with nuclear facilities to comply with a new regulation from the Nuclear Regulatory Commission. To date, WorkForce Software's EmpCenter® Fatigue Management solution has been adopted by nearly 70-percent of the utility companies that operate nuclear power reactor sites, which includes 16 nuclear companies, 4 contractors, 32 locations, and approximately 90,000 employees.
In April, Workforce Software launched its software-as-a-service (SaaS) EmpCenter Delivered solution that automates 100-percent of an organization's labor policies and compliance processes. EmpCenter Delivered embeds configuration services fees into the cost of the software subscription, enabling companies to deploy cost- and time-saving technology without any capex investment. The pay-as-you-go monthly subscription pricing allows organizations to realize ROI immediately.

"As the popularity of the SaaS model continues to rise, we've seen more of our clients migrate from our on-premise to our EmpCenter Delivered solution," said WorkForce Software's Sr. VP of Sales and Marketing Howard Tarnoff. "We developed this game-changing model of no upfront service fees to make this an affordable option for enterprise organizations with complex labor policies and compliance concerns. We are proud to say we are the only vendor offering this option."
To accommodate the company's growth without compromising its high-level of customer support, WorkForce Software increased its workforce by 25-percent in the first half of the year by adding new employees in its development, consulting and support departments. The company also added the position of vice president of software development and hired software veteran Ken Olson. Bringing nearly 20 years experience, Mr. Olson is responsible for managing all aspects of software development; establishing product goals and development strategies to ensure clients receive high quality software to manage their workforce. Mr. Olson previously held executive positions at Macrovision Corporation and ProQuest Information and Learning.

"We've been focused on aggressively growing the company this year and we see a lot more opportunities in front of us," said WorkForce Software's President and CEO Kevin Choksi. "We look forward to continuing our momentum and will be introducing a new industry changing product later this year."
