WorkForce Software, Inc., the leader in workforce management solutions for organizations with complex policies and compliance concerns, announces its April Learning Series webinar, "Four Nuggets that Enhance Top Performance in Payroll During the Recession." Our speaker, Ms. Felicia Cheek, senior business advisor for The Hackett Group, focuses on how payroll professionals can make a difference to their organization during these difficult economic times.

The recession is on everyone's mind, particularly when it comes to our jobs. In an effort to ease the minds of payroll professionals, Ms. Cheek's first nugget of information is, "Relax, employees still must be paid." No matter what the economic condition is, employees still need to be paid. She focuses on how to improve processes to reduce costs, improve efficiency, and increase effectiveness. Ms. Cheek uses top performing organizations as an example of what all payroll departments should strive to achieve.

Ms. Cheek brings to The Hackett Group more than fifteen years of experience in payroll advisory, operational, technical and consulting roles. Over the last six years, her major focus has been on achieving payroll efficiencies through effective utilization of technology, self-service and standardized policies and procedures across the organization. Prior to joining Hackett, she was a consultant on a large human resource outsourcing project where she was required to assist the client in realizing operational efficiencies in a financially challenging environment with major labor agreements. She also held positions as an internal payroll consultant at Turner Broadcasting System, Inc. and managed payrolls for several large hotel chains through her role as an Account Manager for ADP. Ms. Cheek is well known in the payroll profession and a sought after speaker.

"Each month we strive to offer webinars that bring value to professionals in the payroll and HR industry, and this month's webinar will discuss methods for increasing the value of their department during the recession," said President and CEO Kevin Choksi of WorkForce Software. "And, we are thrilled to have Felicia Cheek, an industry expert from The Hackett Group, present the session."
