New Name, New Features, Continued Commitment to Accuracy, Currency, and Reliability

Chicago (PRWEB) December 10, 2008 -- World Book, Inc. today announced the introduction of World Book Student. A comprehensive upgrade to the award-winning World Book Reference Center, World Book Student adds dozens of new research tools, interactive features, and multimedia.

These new features and enhancements ensure that it remains the preeminent online reference tool among schools and libraries and ensures students and learners of all ages have access to accurate, current, and reliable online reference materials
World Book Student includes all the articles from the print versions of the World Book Encyclopedia, plus thousands of additional articles, learning resources, and research tools.

New research features include a timeline builder and the ability for students to establish their own research accounts. A new biography center provides easy access to thousands of biographies of important people and allows students to select biographies by time period, field of interest and other criteria. The new World Book Student also adds hundreds of new videos and thousands of new and updated pictures and illustrations to reinforce learning and support student research projects.
