World Patent Marketing, a vertically integrated manufacturer and engineer of patented products, announces the Umbrella Weather Pack, a household invention created to provide a better way being shielded against heavy rain and strong winds.
"The Outdoor Industry in the U.S. is worth $4 billion," says Scott Cooper, CEO and Creative Director of World Patent Marketing. "The industry is facing escalating competition from other retailers. Everyone is eager to take a slice from profits brought about by rising consumer spending."
“Holding on to an umbrella during rainy days will not guarantee that you will stay completely dry,” says Jerry Shapiro, Director of Manufacturing and World Patent Marketing Inventions. “Once the strong winds hit, the umbrella could upturn or worse, be completely taken by the wind. The Umbrella Weather Pack is a household invention which ensures the wearer that he or she is kept dry and safe without having to physically hold on to an umbrella.”
The Umbrella Weather Pack was created to have dual rain-protection purposes: one as umbrella and second, as a vest. Made of highly durable waterproof material, this invention comprises of a vest that covers the portion up to the torso, a fastener such as Velcro to connect the sections of the vest, an umbrella canopy with air circulation vent which is attached at the back portion of the vest and a hood design connected at the back. The vest would be made from water resistant nylon or canvas. In addition to this, it helps protect the wearer against strong winds. But what is unique about the Umbrella Weather Pack is that a person no longer needs to manually hold on to the umbrella. Since it is attached to the vest, the wearer’s hands are free to hold on to other items. Simply press on a button at the shoulder area of the vest and the umbrella canopy is opened.
"The Umbrella Weather Pack is a light weight water resistant flat vest with a water resistant hood," says inventor Mark H. "It has a build-in retractable umbrella. This umbrella is vented to resist wind gusts that turn traditional umbrellas inside out,and it has four deep pockets ideal use for outdoor activities and sporting events."
Justine Best, a school teacher from Ohio, has this to say about the Umbrella Weather Pack: “Kids and teachers are always carrying multiple items no matter what the weather is. And during the rainy days, it can be quite a challenge to hold on t things while carrying an umbrella at the same time. I think the Umbrella Weather Pack is a great way to provide a solution to this problem while adding more protection to the body against harsh weather conditions.”
The Umbrella Weather Pack provides a better way of protecting oneself against strong winds and rain.
