Radical Sports Cars, a leading sports car blog and online community, has released their list of the world's 10 fastest cars in the world. Perhaps better term as "supercars," these 200+ mph vehicles $350,000 to $2.4 million. There was a tie for the three slowest cars on the list, though few would call any of them slow at a top speed of 217 mph. These included the Ferrari Enzo, Pagani Zonda Cinque Roadster, and Jaguar XJ220. Rounding out the top of the list was the Bugatti Veyron Super Sport, with a top speed of 267 mph. Not surprisingly, the Bugatti is the most expensive car on the list.
Three of the cars on the list are from companies based in the United States. These include the Hennessey Venom GT, SSC Ultimate Aero, and Saleen S7 Twin-Turbo. They are capable of reaching speeds of 260 mph, 257 mph, 248 mph, respectively.
"Our readership loves top 10 lists," said the managing editor. "And everybody wants to know which motorcycle, jet, human, and of course sports car is the fastest. It was a match made in heaven."
