WorldVentures, a Dallas-based leisure travel company, announced it will extend the test launch of its DreamTrips U vacation club membership and accompanying College/Young Professional Program and will launch the programs internationally in the first quarter of 2012.

WorldVentures extends DreamTrip U program

DreamTrips U provides a way for students and young adults to enjoy the adventure of vacationing otherwise too costly for most within their age group.

WorldVentures announced this week it will extend its test launch of the DreamTrips U vacation club membership and accompanying College/Young Professional Program through April 2012. In addition to this extension, the company will launch the programs internationally in the first quarter of 2012.

Part of the DreamTrips product line, DreamTrips U is WorldVentures’ first product geared specifically toward students and young professionals between the ages of 18 and 25 who are interested in leisure travel at discounted prices. Once they become DreamTrips U Members, they have access to a variety of packaged vacations, including many designed around their school breaks. And if they’re looking for a way to earn extra income to pay for school, housing or books, they can join the College/Young Professional Program and earn commissions based on marketing the DreamTrips U Membership to friends and classmates.

“The college-age demographic is one of the most challenged by the current economic climate,” says WorldVentures Chief Strategy Officer Eddie Head. “Our College/Young Professional Program provides a dramatically reduced pricing option for a student or young professional to get started in a business growing rapidly within the broader global market.”

Initially launched to a small test market in the United States, DreamTrips U and the College/Young Professional Program showed immediate potential when thousands of students in the Midwest began introducing the product to their friends and fellow students. Within the first four weeks of the trial period, more than 2,000 young professionals were participating in the programs.
