WorthPoint, the Internet’s ultimate art, antiques and collectibles research and pricing tool, celebrated its sixth anniversary on April 19, having recently added its 150-millionth item to its searchable database—the Worthopedia™.

WorthPoint’s database—the Worthopedia—now includes more than the 150 million sales records and one billion photgraphs of antiques and collectibles from numerous auction houses and online marketplaces.

“This is essentially leading-edge cloud-computing with terabytes of data and a billion images at the fingertips for our users,” says Will Seippel, founder and CEO of WorthPoint.

WorthPoint had an exceptional growth in subscribers over the last year, jumping from 18,000 in March 2012 to nearly 25,000 across all of its sites—WorthPoint.com, GoAntiques.com and MarksandLibrary.com.

In addition to WorthPoint’s accomplishments in 2012, the company was ranked No. 505 on Inc. magazine’s sixth annual Inc. 500|5000 List, an exclusive ranking of the nation’s fastest-growing private companies.
