Richard Dolewski to Lead WTS' Disaster Recovery Practice for JD Edwards Customers

Richard will be responsible for service delivery and management of our Disaster Recovery and High Availability service offerings targeted to the JD Edwards customer base. With his leadership, WTS will provide the highest level of service for any JD Edwards customer who requires a Business Continuity solution.

WTS, Inc., the leader in application hosting for Oracle's JD Edwards enterprise software, announced that Mr. Richard Dolewski will lead their expanded Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity practice. In addition to leading WTS' standalone practice, he will also be responsible for Disaster Recovery solutions for all WTS customers. Mr. Dolewski was previously managing partner and equity owner of Mid-Range Technical Services, Inc., headquartered in Toronto, Canada.

Mr. Dolewski is a certified systems integration specialist and disaster recovery planner and is globally recognized as a subject matter expert for Business Continuity for the IBM iSeries and i5 environments. An award winning author and speaker, he is frequently heard at industry conferences including IBM Common, IBM Europe, IBM executive events, Quest and many local user groups.

Richard has recently written a book titled System i Disaster Recovery Planning that will be published later this year. A frequent technical contributor to publications such as Common and iSeries magazine, Richard is a winner of numerous speaking awards at Common and a member of Common Speaker Hall of Fame. In addition, he has published numerous articles, often taught hands-on technical classes and is the past president of the Toronto Users Group for Mid-Range Systems.

Richard's expertise includes developing and supporting a large customer base of Disaster Recovery clients throughout the US and Canada. He managed a portfolio of IT services including Recovery Plan consulting, Disaster Recovery solutions, High Systems Availability, as well as the professional management of Disaster Recovery business services and customized Business Continuity solutions for Oracle's JD Edwards solutions. He and his teams have previously supported 18 computer room disasters and conducted over 200 disaster recovery tests.
