A recent report conducted by ShopperTrak expects holiday traffic to increase for the first time since 2007, with an increase in foot traffic to increase 2.8 percent during November and December. As the United States economy continues to struggle to revive itself, the Commerce Department indicated that consumer spending got off to a firm start during Q3 and personal income continues to rise.
