Inaugural Online Ceremony Recognizes Achievements in Grassroots Marketing Innovation

Celebrating a fast-growing new marketing revolution, global nutritionals leader XanGo, LLC today hosted its inaugural XanGo.TV Awards Show, recognizing the best video entries from distributors around the world. The 20-minute online broadcast event at http://www.xango.tv (to be posted today at 7 p.m. EST) honors Top 10 winners from among more than 200 entries and from more than 20 international markets who put their XanGo stories and inspirations into short films.

XanGo distributors from Mexico to Malaysia competed for a $10,000 Grand Prize in the contest to find the most creative and entertaining under-three-minute productions that feature real-life XanGo stories, insights and experiences.

"XanGo.TV has sparked a grassroots marketing revolution and set a new industry standard for distributor recognition and communication. XanGo.TV has mobilized nearly one million distributors globally to share their stories in this exciting medium. The XanGo.TV Awards Show honors the passion, vision and storytelling in this terrific compilation of distributor-produced videos," said John Digles, XanGo Chief Marketing Officer and XanGo.TV Awards host.

XanGo.TV, the market's first brand-centric video sharing site, hosts a roster of channels with a library of videos and podcasts. Viewers can chronicle XanGo's five-year genesis as a category creator to its advent as an evolving global billion-dollar brand.

Judged by the XanGo.TV Awards Guild (the company's six founders and Digles), the XanGo.TV Awards gave First Place to "Go XanGo with the XanGo Kids" by the Messenger Family of Colorado Springs, Colo. Inspired by Chuck Berry's classic "Johnny Be Good," the Messenger children tell the story of XanGo founder Joe Morton's discovery of the mangosteen and the birth of XanGo.

Coming in Second was Agustin and Raule Garduno of Mexico with their "Why 1K" short that demonstrates how a new XanGo distributor starts to build a profitable business network. The Third Place winner "Hand by Hand" by Ruben Oroz of Mexico shows how XanGo continues to grow quickly through the power of sharing XanGo Juice among friends and neighbors alike.

Honorable Mentions went to "XanGo is My Choice" by Peter Kuchang Sarawak (Malaysia), "My XanGo Story" by David Stephen (USA), "XanGo Convention Personal Trainer" by Lindsay MacDonald (USA), "Super XanGo" by Ofelia Arriola (Mexico), "XanGo is Packed" by Lisa Stevens (USA), "Dream Again" by Rich Martin (USA) and "XanGo is the Best" by Henri Thibault (Canada).

In addition to watching award-winning videos, XanGo.TV viewers can embed, download and share videos from a roster of channels that include Lifestyle, Goodness philanthropy, Sports, Training, Events and Contests. Over one million visitors have hit the site since XanGo.TV went live in October 2007. The company's recent "Online INVASION" on XanGo.TV attracted over 150,000 viewers from more than 20 international markets.
