The wade fishing in Yellowstone can be some of the best in our region and the experience of standing in a river with bison and elk walking around is truly unique.

Montana Angler Fly Fishing plans to begin offering fly fishing trips to Yellowstone National Park in partnership with Rendezvous Outfitters. Yellowstone fly fishing is widely recognized as some of the best in the Rocky Mountain region. The nation’s first national park is home to several famous wild trout fisheries that include the Madison River, Yellowstone River, Firehole River, Gallatin River, Lamar River, Soda Butte Creek and Slough Creek. Fishing inside of Yellowstone is by wading only. Guided trips will include both day trips and overnight horse pack trips into remote back-country camping areas.
“Yellowstone Park is very close to our main base of operations in Bozeman”, stated Montana Angler Fly Fishing outfitter Brian McGeehan. “The wade fishing in Yellowstone can be some of the best in our region and the experience of standing in a river with bison and elk walking around is truly unique. Many of our fishing guests are attracted to the region because of the Park and the opportunity to provide a guided fishing experience inside of Yellowstone is something that we are very excited about. Rendezvous outfitters is very experienced at offering trips in Yellowstone and many of the fly fishing guides that we use on our standard trips are independent contractors that also guide trips with Rendezvous which allows us to seamlessly offer package trips on famous rivers in Montana with great wade fishing in the Park. Anglers can choose from a day fishing trip or can engage in a multi-day horse pack adventure to wilderness camps on the edge of the park boundary along either Slough or Hellroaring Creeks.”
