Bristol Airport has switched to YESpay International’s EasyV-Internet to manage its online, web-based parking booking facility and has achieved significant operational cost reductions as well as compliance to the latest PCI-DSS security standards. YESpay’s fully managed EMBOSS payment service is a trusted and affordable e-payments gateway that enables merchants to securely process Internet payments through their websites. Bristol Airport is now benefiting from high-speed and secure authorisation and settlement of large-volume credit and debit card transactions with its card acquirer Barclaycard Business helping it to provide customers a simplified payment process.
EMBOSS is fully pre-accredited by Barclaycard and other major UK acquirers and is also certified to Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards (PCI-DSS) Level 1. It supports the secure cardholder authentication payment mechanism for e-commerce transactions, known as Verified-by-Visa (VBV) and MasterCard SecureCode (MSC), collectively referred to as 3D Secure. This is effectively equivalent to an online version of Chip and PIN. Additional security features of Address Verification (AVS) and Cardholder Verification Value (CVV) are fully supported by EMBOSS.
