The full-scale yoga center and Pilates studio, located south of the Twin Cities, was listed in the October issue of Minnesota Monthly magazine as one of the best places in the metro area to take yoga classes.

“I am tremendously honored to have YogaSoul receive recognition as one of the top places to take yoga classes in the Twin Cities,” said YogaSoul owner Tarisa Parrish. “We strive to create the best environment possible for our students and have a goal of delivering an awesome experience in every class. YogaSoul has incredible teachers who are committed to this and we thank Minnesota Monthly for recognizing what we offer.”

Among YogaSoul’s extensive class offerings is Kundalini yoga, a style of yoga featured in the Minnesota Monthly article. The article explains that Kundalini yoga -- which combines chanting, meditation and poses in sets called kriyas -- promotes healing and wellness for the body, mind and spirit. Each class is done with eyes closed almost the entire time, and includes a relaxation period in which a symphonic gong is played.

YogaSoul Center’s mission is to help clients win the battle against stress. It offers several classes and styles of yoga, including Hatha, Yin, and Vinyasa. It boasts a fully equipped Pilates studio and offers many kinds of classes, including Zumba, Tai Chi and belly dancing. Its full roster of teachers and healers provide clients with a variety of healing services, including intuitive readings, Reiki, Thai yoga bodywork, Ayurveda, energy work and several others. YogaSoul also hosts special workshops and Kundalini yoga teacher trainings.
